Kyle Mecca started Green Horizon Solar to help homeowners go solar safely and honestly.
With a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, he worked as an engineer for many years before realizing he was most passionate about the environment.
He then moved to a solar equipment manufacturer and gained insight into the importance of not only choosing the right equipment, but also the right warranties.
Finally, he was a manager at 2 different solar finance companies. There he saw the hard truth of the solar industry. He witnessed sales reps providing poor options to customers, misinforming customers, or failing to optimize their systems.
That was when he decided to create Green Horizon Solar, to help homeowners through the solar decision-making process with the utmost confidence.
